Can spring be far away?
It's been a long, cold, snowy winter here in upstate New York.
I haven't had a chance to use my camera much since December 1 as my 92 year old mother went into the hospital for gall bladder surgery, and then to a rehab facility until just a few days ago when she returned to the Senior Living center where she had been living. It was necessary to downsize her two bedroom apartment into a studio apartment and move everything and find someone to take what couldn't be used. She may not be staying in this apartment long as she is having dementia issues and may need to be moved to a facility where she can get more help.
Needless to say, this has been a busy, emotional time for me as most of the "work" falls on me since my brother and sister live out of state. My brother is here now and took care of cleaning out the old apartment after we moved everything she could use into the studio.
I've been reading other posts and have commented here and there but look forward to having more time to "visit" when things settle down here

so sorry to hear that about your mom. i know the emotional stress that causes is huge! declining health with my parents is something i think about alot, and worry over. especially living so far away now! i want to take care of them in their old age ;) and give back a bit of what they've done for me all through the years~
